An overview of Apply, the UCAS online application system
Apply is an application system that allows you to apply online for full-time undergraduate courses at universities and colleges in the UK. You will be asked to complete the following sections.
- Registration
- Personal details
- Additional information (UK applicants only)
- Student finance
- Choices
- Education
- Employment
- Personal statement
- Reference
- View all details
- Declaration
- Pay and send
You will need to mark every section as complete before you can send your application to us.
Apply in Welsh
If you are applying only to Welsh universities or colleges you can choose to complete your application entirely in Welsh. To register in Welsh, go to Apply and click on the registration link. On the popup window, select Cymraeg from the drop-down list on the left-hand side of the screen. Once you are logged in to Apply, you can change the language to English or Welsh in the 'Options' section.
Help text
All help text is available in Welsh and there are two types of help available. We provide help that gives you an overview about the current page that you are viewing, and help that is specific to any field that requires you to enter details or select an option on-screen. Please make sure that you read the help text before completing your application.
Receive correspondence in Welsh
In Apply, you can ask for all correspondence from a Welsh university or college in relation to your application to be written in Welsh. Any letters from us will also be in Welsh. To opt in to receiving letters in Welsh, go to the Additional information section of Apply.
