I can't find my certificates, can't be certain of my results, and don't know the awarding organisation details. What can I do?

You should check with the school where you took the exams to see if they can provide the results or confirm the awarding organisation. If they cannot provide the results, the awarding organisation should be approached for replacement certificates.

If the school doesn't exist any more, you should try your local authority, as they may have taken over the records of the former school. Contact details for your local authority can be found on the GOV.UK website.

If neither of these options help, contact the universities to which you are applying direct to discuss if they would be prepared to accept any alternative proof of qualifications.
