Some universities have formed groups through which they share ideas and resources regarding issues and procedures in the higher education sector. The groups below work to improve the higher education system and share best practice methods.

1994 Group

The members of UKADIA are specialist creative industries, arts and design institutions from across the UK's higher and further education sectors. UKADIA's aim is to promote nationally and internationally, the distinctive character of UK specialist arts institutions providing higher education courses, and to add value to their effectiveness through recognising and advancing their links to the creative, cultural and communications industries, the community and business. The specialist colleges provide a key contribution to the UK's world-renowned reputation in the visual arts and creative industries.
