The Tariff only includes qualifications that are suitable for entry to higher education courses. If qualifications are changed to the extent that they no longer offer utility for progression to higher education, then they will be removed.
Awarding organisations may also decide that they no longer want their qualifications to be included in the Tariff.
Scottish Standard Grades and Intermediate 2 qualifications were initially included on the Tariff, but no longer attract Tariff points with effect from 2011 entry. This means that any applicants seeking to enter Higher Education from September 2011 onwards can no longer include these qualifications in their Tariff score. The Tariff points available for other Scottish qualifications, including National Certificates, Highers and Advanced Highers, can be found on the Qualifications page.
