Summary Principal Learning Wales qualifications are available in Wales as one of the Option elements within the Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification. Principal Learning Wales must be studied alongside the Project qualifications at the appropriate level and other appropriate qualifications. Learners who achieve the Welsh Baccalaureate Core and Options will be awarded the Welsh Baccalaureate Diploma at the appropriate level.
Tariff entry The qualification was first considered for UCAS Tariff points by the UCAS Board in March 2010. Points come into effect for entry to higher education from 2011 onwards.
