OCR Level 3 Certificate/ Diploma for IT Professionals (iPro)
| Summary | The OCR Level 3 Certificate/Diploma for IT Professionals is unit based and has been designed to provide accreditation for the full breadth of essential knowledge, understanding and skills that would be needed by a competent employee. It is suitable for those who are studying in preparation for a role in the IT industry and for those who are already employed in roles in the IT industry and who wish to develop further knowledge and skills to support or extend their work activities. In addition to the Certificate/Diploma there are two pathways available for those engaged in the process of supporting ICT systems or developing software. The qualification has been designed to develop knowledge, understanding and skills in the full range of functions involved in system support and/or software development. |

| Tariff entry | The qualification was first considered for UCAS Tariff points in October 2006.
