Summary This qualification aims to:
  • enable learners to develop knowledge, understanding and applied skills of specialist fashion retail management
  • encourage progression by assisting in the development of knowledge, understanding and skills that learners will need to access further or higher education or to enter employment
  • encourage an evaluative approach to personal and professional development.
Tariff entry The qualification was first considered for UCAS Tariff points in July 2006. Points came into effect for entry to higher education from 2008 onwards.

The qualification was revised in 2010 to comply with Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) requirements.

The new QCF version attracts the same Tariff points as earlier versions of the ABC Level 3 Diploma in Fashion Retail.
