| Summary | The CACHE Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Child Care and Education provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of child development and education necessary for working with children in a variety of job roles and settings. These qualifications are based on the current National Occupational Standards for Children's Care, Learning and Development at Level 3 and reflect the shift in focus to children's services. |

| Tariff entry | The Diploma was first considered for UCAS Tariff points in February 2003, with the Award and Certificate considered for the first time in June 2009. The structure of the qualifications have changed with achievement now reported at single grades. The following points come into effect for entry to higher education from 2010 onwards.
