CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education
| Summary | The CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education provides learners with the knowledge and understanding of child development and education necessary for working with children in a variety of job roles and settings. This qualification is based on the current National Occupational Standards for Children's Care, Learning and Development at Level 3 and reflects the shift in focus to children's services. | ||||||

| Tariff entry | The qualification was first considered for UCAS Tariff points in February 2003. Points came into effect for entry to higher education from 2004 onwards. Expert Group report (PDF) |
Following a revision of the specification, a desk analysis of the qualification proposed incorporating the Theory and Practical scores into a single score for the qualification. UCAS are planning to review the scores in March 2009. |
