Tariff entry These qualifications were first considered for UCAS Tariff points in 2005.
Points came into effect for entry to higher education from 2008 onwards.

Summary The purpose of this qualification is to provide the holder with the ability to work as a groom in a variety of areas within the equestrian industry. The holder will be able to ride a variety of horses under a variety of circumstances, tactfully and effectively. The holder has the ability to apply basic principles of teaching/ coaching generic riding skills, showing an awareness of safety procedures involving a lesson or hack.
UCAS Tariff points Each qualification attracts 35 Tariff points for a Pass.
