AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting (QCF)
| Summary | This qualification has been designed for those working or wishing to work in accounting. To achieve the award candidates must complete eight mandatory units which cover preparing accounts; recording and evaluating costs and revenues; cash management; understanding indirect tax and preparing and completing VAT returns; working with spreadsheets and an understanding of professional ethics in accounting and finance. |

| Tariff entry | The AAT Level 3 NVQ in Accounting was first considered for UCAS Tariff points in 2006, with points coming into effect for entry to higher education from 2009 onwards. The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting was considered for Tariff points in
2010 and was allocated the same number of Tariff points as the NVQ. The points for the Level 3 Diploma come into effect for entry to higher education from 2011 onwards.
