When you log into Track, you will see a message on the Welcome Screen which advises you of the current status of your UCAS application. Below, you can view what your status actually means. If you click on the link, you will be directed to another page on the website where you can read more information on what to expect next.
This means that you have secured a place at a university or college and you do not need to do anything further in Track. A Confirmation letter is in the post and on its way to you already. When it arrives, read it carefully and follow any instructions. You should keep the letter safe.

This means that the offer you are holding is still conditional. If you have already received your results and were expecting the university to have updated their final decision by now, give them a call to check if they are waiting for any further information and ask them when you can expect the decision to be updated.

If you find a course you are interested in on the Clearing vacancy search (available on this website for Scottish vacancies from Tuesday 7 August and all other course vacancies from Thursday 16 August), contact the university and ask them to consider you - make sure you have your Personal ID, Clearing number, and exam results available when you call. The university will inform you if they want to offer you a place. If you would like to accept their offer, log into Track and add it as your Clearing choice.

This means that your chosen university have made a change to your offer. It could be that it has offered you a place on a different course, or the change could be an amendment to the start date. For details, visit your choices page in Track. If you wish to discuss the change further, contact the university or college direct.

This means that you are holding a conditional offer. You may still be waiting for your exam results. If this is the case, the university or college should update their final decision once they have received these results. If you have already received your results and were expecting the university to have updated its final decision by now, give them a call to check what is happening.

This means that you are not holding any offers and you are therefore able to look for a place through Clearing. If you already have your exam results you can contact universities and colleges direct to see if they have vacancies in Clearing, or alternatively wait for the UCAS Clearing vacancy search to be published (available on this website for Scottish vacancies from Tuesday 7 August and all other course vacancies from Thursday 16 August).

This means you have registered for Adjustment and you will shortly be able to see your individual Adjustment period (how much time you have left to use Adjustment to secure a place at an alternative university) in Track.
