Degree courses are validated by The Open University in the UK, and accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools in the USA. Richmond is a private university and independent of direct government funding. Tuition fees for 2013 for EU/UK students are £9,000 per year(two semesters). Home & EU Richmond undergraduate students are normally eligible, via Student Finance England for a loan of £6000 per year towards tuition fees. Scholarships are also available to some entrants to waive £1,500 or the full £3,000 remaining balance of tuition fees each year. Tuition fees for international students are £14,500 per year(two semesters). International students may be eligible for limited merit scholarships.
