Notes
The University of Greenwich has created a JobShop to provide assistance to students looking for part-time jobs which helps them support themsleves whilst studying as well as provides them with better employment prospects, new skills, an understanding of the world of work and valuable contacts in the longer term.
Combined honours degrees are designed for those who want the flexibility and variety of knowledge and skills offered by a combination of subjects, instead of having to choose a one-subject, single honours degree.
Many programmes throughout the University includes the opportunity to study a foreign language. You can start a language as an absolute beginner, or join at a higher level, depending on what you have studied before.
Foundation degrees are vocational higher education qualifications which have been designed in consultation with employers to meet demands for highly skilled individuals able to apply specialist knowledge in the workplace.
At University of Greenwich, an 'extended degree' is a four-year degree course, including a foundation year, for students without the necessary qualifications for direct entry to the three-year degree course.
Application Form: Section 3 (Choices in Alphabetical Order) Section f (Further Details required by the university) If you are studying at a school or college that has signed up to the On Course Scheme, please write ON COURSE (followed by the name of the school or college where you are currently studying). If you are in a Life Long Learning Network with a Progression Agreement, please write PA and the initials of that network, eg: If you are in the South East London Life Long Learning Network write PA SELLLLN.
Normally a full-time student takes 120 credits a year, and most degrees require a total of 360 credits. This is designed to make transfer from one university to another easier, as well as facilitate moves between programmes at the university.
