Notes

The University of Bedfordshire was established in August 2006, following the merger between the University of Luton and De Montfort University's Bedford campus. The University has 1,000 staff along with 19,000 students from over 100 countries. It also has nine research institutes and will have invested £134m in its facilities by the academic year 2010-11. The University leapt a massive 18 places in The Times Good University Guide 2010 and in the National Student Survey 2009 it was ranked second in the UK for Marketing, equal second for Journalism, third for Complementary Medicine, fourth for Human Resource Management and seventh for Dance.
