As a teacher, what advice should I give to my current students?
The consultation does not propose any immediate changes to the application process and current applicants will not be affected in any way.
The earliest proposed date for any significant change to the process would be for applicants entering higher education in 2016. Any changes would need to be agreed by 2014, in order that all those involved in the process have sufficient time to prepare.
