Step 4: Results

What happens next depends on your son's or daughter's exam results. If they meet all the conditions of their offer, they will be accepted by the university. Even if they have not quite met the requirements, the university or college may lower its offer and still accept them. Advise them to check Track to see their decisions.

If your son or daughter isn't accepted

If your son or daughter has not met the conditions of their firm and insurance choice (if they have one), the universities or colleges cannot accept them, and they have paid the full application fee ( £23 for 2013 entry), they will be eligible for Clearing. Find out more about Clearing.
