If your son or daughter is waiting for exam results that they need to get into university or college, they need to be prepared for what happens next.
Your son or daughter needs to be available when the results are published. They might have to make quick and perhaps difficult decisions about their future so they should be prepared to speak to universities and colleges themselves.
Your son or daughter should check that their personal details are correct in Track - we and the universities and colleges contact them by email, letter and sometimes by phone so make sure that we have their up-to-date details.
If they change their address, they should arrange for their mail to be redirected in case letters have already been sent.
If your son or daughter wants to make changes to their choices, check the making changes page which explains what to do.
We receive some exam results which we send to the universities and colleges. Check the list of exam results we receive to see if their qualifications are listed. If not, they need to send their results to the universities and colleges, who will decide whether or not to confirm the place.
