What's a generic note?
A generic note is a piece of text that appears as a note in the 'Course information' section of Course Search, which is generated automatically when you indicate a particular response to one of a range of 'Yes/No' questions in web-link. For instance, if you indicate that the course is a 'top-up' from HND to a full degree, a note will be generated as follows: 'Top-up course. Applicants must have studied at higher education level before applying for this course.'
The following generic notes are used:
Top-up courses
Foundation year (year 0) included
QTS
Professional Accreditation
Medicine/Dentistry/Veterinary Science courses
