What browser settings are recommended?
Because web-link (courses) pages are dynamically generated, they should never be cached, as old pages will be out of date. The browser should be set to check for new pages on every visit to the page.
For Internet Explorer, this is set on the Internet Explorer tools menu, on the Settings button on the General tab. Set 'Check for newer versions of stored pages' to 'every visit to the page'.
For Netscape use Edit Preferences, Advanced, Cache, 'Document in cache is compared to document on network' - set to 'every time'.
