This session is designed to give staff from potential UKPASS institutions an opportunity to find out how the system works for the institutions and the applicants.
The session starts with a presentation which gives a brief history of UKPASS; what it is and why it has been developed. The session outlines benefits for both institutions and applicants and also gives information on recent and planned changes to UKPASS.
Participants are then taken through the set-up process for UKPASS and have the opportunity to go through the steps themselves using a training environment. This is followed by working through an application to see the information they will receive. Having seen what information the applicant provides, participants then view that information in the format they will receive it and explore the various reports available, including the statistical information they can use.
Staff from institutions who are considering using or are about to commit to using UKPASS will find this a useful session. Potential users and decision makers will benefit from this interactive session, which offers the opportunity to try the system both from the perspective of the institution and the applicant.
