Entry Profiles training

Entry Profiles are designed to help applicants make a fully informed choice and select the right place for them. Students looking at Entry Profiles expect to see course and institution details, the entry qualifications required and a bit about the university, as well as the qualities you're looking for in your students.

If you'd like help writing and managing your institution's Entry Profiles, come to one of our free training workshops, aimed at helping member institutions understand and enhance Entry Profiles. The one-day workshop runs from 10:00 to 15:00 and includes lunch.

Who should attend?

  • Staff from UCAS member institutions who work in admissions, marketing and recruitment.
  • Members of staff responsible for promoting their course information and institution's facilities.
  • Technical staff who manage the institution's data electronically.

The workshop helps HE staff members improve information for applicants, while encouraging widening participation and promoting fair admissions through Course Search.

What does the workshop cover?

The main focus of the day will be how to improve Entry Profiles, both in terms of content and style. Training begins with refreshments and an introduction to Entry Profiles, looking at what they are, how to manage them and their content. The profile database will then be used in a practical session to showcase the possibilities available for improving Entry Profiles.

Lunch will be provided in our restaurant.
