Of the UK institutions listed by UCAS as offering higher education (HE) courses, the vast majority have written and provided a generic statement reflecting their position on accepting the Advanced Diploma as a route onto their undergraduate courses. This includes all of the research-intensive Russell Group and 1994 Group universities, and all of the Million+ and University Alliance universities.
UCAS members have submitted course-level admissions information to UCAS for 2010 admissions. This information includes the acceptability for each Line of Learning and guidance for what Additional and Specialist Learning will be required for application to HE.

P26: University of London Institute in Paris
ULIP will welcome applications from those offering the new Diplomas and each will be considered on an individual basis. Specific additional/specialised learning may be required. Diploma candidates should consult the Admissions Office to check that their Diploma is suitable for their chosen program and that they are taking any required options.
P35: Pembrokeshire College (Accredited College of University of Glamorgan)
Pembrokeshire College welcomes the new Advanced Diplomas as a suitable alternative to the traditional A Level route into HE courses. Applications will be accepted from Advanced Diploma students for entry to many undergraduate programmes, both related HE courses at Foundation degree and Honours Degree level, and other courses in the university. P37: Peninsula College of Medicine & Dentistry
Acceptable in combination with specific GCE A level subjects. Please contact the Undergraduate Admissions Department for further information.
P55: Peterborough Regional College
University Centre Peterborough, through our validating university, Anglia Ruskin University, is happy to consider applications from holders of the new Diplomas. For entry to many courses tariff points from all Diplomas will be acceptable; for other courses acceptability of tariff points from the different lines of learning will be considered on a case by case basis. More detailed information is given under individual course entry requirements and more specific details will be published when further information is available on the content and delivery of the new Diplomas.
P60: University of Plymouth
Advanced Diplomas will be considered that are relevant to the degree course. Some degrees may require A levels in addition to a Diploma. Information will be updated on our website as we come to a decision about particular degree courses, www.plymouth.ac.uk.
P63: UCP Marjon
We will be happy to consider applications from holders of the new 14-19 Diplomas from 2010. More detailed information on specific entry requirements for the new qualifications will be published on the Marjon website www.marjon.ac.uk when further information is available on their content and delivery.
P65: Plymouth College of Art and Design
Plymouth College of Art welcomes applicants undertaking the 14-19 Diplomas. The college is active in the region in supporting the development of Diploma courses. Any applicant undertaking the Diploma will be considered for entry to a relevant undergraduate course.
P80: University of Portsmouth
The University of Portsmouth welcomes applications from those taking the 14-19 Diploma. It considers applicants with Advanced and Progression Diplomas for entry onto bachelor and foundation degree programmes in related subject areas.
