Should I vary the text about the school? I want to avoid 'cutting and pasting' and my references being the same.
It is commonplace for references to arrive with the same opening text about the school. However, references occasionally arrive from the same school with the same comments written about different students. It would be helpful to avoid this. Admissions decision makers appreciate tailored rather than formulaic references. The exception to this would be the background information about the school; it is important to be consistent for all applicants to avoid bias.
