UCAS support for students affected by changes to access agreements

In response to today's announcement by the Office for Fair Access, UCAS is making some temporary changes to its rules affecting anyone who has applied for courses starting in 2012. This is to ensure that applicants are able to make choices in possession of all the relevant facts, including fee information.

Affected applicants have been sent an email outlining how they can, under certain circumstances, make a change to their choices. UCAS has worked closely with OFFA and its member institutions to ensure that there are clear channels for making these alterations.

The full text of the UCAS email sent to applicants on 2 December 2011 is available here.
