Staff at UCAS have a reason to celebrate after coming away victorious at the Customer Contact Association (CCA) awards.
At the event, which was held in Edinburgh on Wednesday 4 November, Kate Butland, UCAS Customer Service Unit Manager, won the Manager of the Year award, whilst the UCAS Schools Team received a highly commended award for Contact Centre Team of the Year.
The CCA awards celebrate organisations and individuals who are innovative and are committed to driving improvements within their contact and customer service centres. The ceremony was the highlight of the CCA Convention 2009, the topic of this year's being world class customer experience. As well as UCAS, brands such as O2, Microsoft, Comic Relief and British Airways were there.
Kate Butland said, 'In all of the awards we have entered this year, we have either won or been highly commended. It is fantastic to be recognised for the work we do. My job is made easier due to the staff I work with, they all do a fantastic job supporting our customers everyday.
It's also great to be recognised by peers within the customer service industry on a national basis and highlights the excellent work UCAS does.'
The UCAS Customer Service Unit has also picked up awards and nominations at the CCF European Call Centre awards and the South West Contact Centre Awards.
