UCAS - Our events

UCAS organises events across the UK for students thinking about applying to higher education, their teachers and advisers, and HE staff who are involved in the UCAS admissions process. Our events provide information, advice and guidance on applying to HE and the wider context of the higher education sector.

UCAS has its own in-house events team, based at the UCAS offices in Cheltenham, made up of highly experienced event management professionals with a wealth of knowledge on the higher education sector.

Events for students

We organise exhibitions for those deciding what and where to study in higher education, bringing together universities from across the UK, alongside organisations that support the decision and application process.

These include our higher education conventions, which play a vital part in helping applicants decide what and where to study within higher education. We organise a network of up to 50 higher education conventions, giving students the chance to talk to universities and colleges about their institution and the courses they offer. For students interested in studying a particular subject, we also organise subject specific exhibitions.

Events for teachers and advisers

UCAS conferences combine keynote presentations given by experienced sector professionals and interactive workshops covering topical issues relating to the UCAS application process, to create a comprehensive programme. Delegates attending the conferences also benefit from the opportunity to ask questions and network with colleagues from across the country.

Events for HE staff

Our conferences provide up to date information and training on the admissions process and the wider context of the higher education environment. They also provide the opportunity to network and share good practice with colleagues from across the UK.

Our exhibitions for students provide the perfect opportunity for HEIs to talk to students from across the UK about their institution and the courses they offer, as well as providing exhibition and marketing opportunities for companies and organisations who want to talk to 16-17 year olds and those thinking about applying to higher education about their future options.
